Steven Montgomery
Experience
Steven has over thirty five years experience as an educator and has taught and led in the UK, UAE, Kuwait and Australia. For the last ten years he has worked in leadership roles for the Victorian department of Education in Australia, leading primary schools and KG to Year 9 colleges. He is a committed educator with a belief that every student has the right to learn.
Education
Steven Graduated from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow in 1988. Most recently he completed the VAPA. (Victorian Award for Principals).
About Steven
Every child has the right to learn. Education should be about forging partnerships with the school, child and families, creating a sense of community and belonging. Recognize each child’s strengths and learning styles and encourage a sense of wonder in the world. Steven has been a keen traveler since he left his homeland of Scotland in 1988 and is enjoying his third visit to the Gulf. He has a passion for music and is a keen record collector.
