Philosophy
Valley Forge Academy in Qatar is born out of a partnership with Valley Forge Military Academy (Valley Forge) in Pennsylvania, United States.
The Valley Forge will provide guidance on education integrity and strategic direction, sharing experience and resources as necessary and appropriate. The Valley Forge has been in operation for nearly 100 years providing a rich tradition of educational excellence and personal development that has produced many alumni that have gained international prominence ranging from Presidents of countries and prominent professional athletes as well as many successful Qatari graduates.
The military tradition (around 4% of graduates enlist in the military) at the Valley Forge will be supplanted by a renewed focus on personal development in the institution’s founding cornerstones. Otherwise, Valley Forge Academy in Qatar will follow closely the curriculum, extracurricular activities, community engagement and traditions that have proven successful for nearly a century. Additionally, the robust connection between the two institutions will allow for exchanges of students, teachers and experiences from Qatar to the United States and vice versa.
