Experience
Servet has 11 years of teaching experience at international schools. Servet taught Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1&2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, SAT, IGCSE, AS-Level, and A-Level mathematics in middle and high school.
Education
He holds a BA in Mathematics from Celal Bayar University in Manisa/Turkey, an MA in Mathematics and Computer Sciences from Kultur University in Istanbul/Turkey.
About Servet
His teaching philosophy is that all teaching and learning experiences should be self-motivated, burden less, joyful, and fit to the contemporary world. I want to let the children learn at their self-pace in very natural surroundings. Teaching should not be a process of passing on information, instruction and resources; rather, it should be to create an atmosphere of self-learning where students are self-motivated to learn. Teaching should aim at developing inquisitiveness, analysis, comprehension, and critical thinking which lead to self-study. Once a student starts self-study, learning tends to be burden less and joyful.
Outside of work, Servet enjoys playing table tennis, football, and martial arts (having black belts in Kickboxing and Muay Thai).
