Josh has 11 years of teaching experience from K-12. Joshua taught middle and high school English Language Arts and Creative Writing classes as an ELA teacher. His teaching experience was spread from America, Asia, Eurasia, Eastern Europe and the Middle East. He also has experience over the last six years in educational leadership ranging from Curriculum to Schoolwide Principal.
He holds a Bachelor’s in Liberal Arts: English Education, from Wright State University, an MA in Education: ELA 7-12 from Wright State University, and an MA in Educational Leadership from American College of Education.
As an educator, Joshua believes that an appreciation for the use of language, spoken and written, is key to the pursuit of lifelong learning, whereby students take on this pursuit through their own inquiry and practical application or reflection of how their language impacts the world around them.
Outside of work, Josh loves to capture his experiences abroad in pen, ink, and watercolor; and has recently illustrated a published children’s book.
