Experience
Mr. Eduardo Ribeiro dreamed of becoming a qualified teacher from an early age. Teachers have had a crucial impact on his life, and his parents and school encouraged him to pursue a career in education. He recently moved from Kuwait where he spent the last three academic years teaching and leading student as a Pastoral leader for Grades 5 to 8. Upon receiving his teaching qualification, Mr. Ribeiro moved to the United Kingdom where his international adventure began. In the diverse city of London, he taught the British National Curriculum to children ranging in age from two to eighteen. As Head of department, he implemented a variety of school sports activities and competitions, including athletic competitions between local schools, and took several teams to the London Youth Games.
Education
Mr. Ribeiro has been teaching Physical Education since 2010, the year he graduated as a Physical Education and school sports teacher. Born and raised in a small city in the north of Portugal, in 2013 he continued his professional development by completing his Master’s degree in Primary and Secondary School Physical Education. In 2019, Mr Ribeiro’s school was selected for the “Jack Petchey Achievement Award Scheme,” which recognizes outstanding young people aged eleven to twenty-five across London and Essex. This award was granted due to the outstanding progress his school had made in engaging local students in sports activities.

Mr. Ribeiro’s teaching philosophy and experience resonates with the Valley Forge Academy cornerstones . Mr Ribeiro was a boy scout for 15 years. He loves playing sports. When he is not teaching, he watches football, basketball or motor sports such as MotoGP or Formula One. His hobbies include listening to music, relaxing on the beach and spending time with family and friends. Traveling to other countries is also an important part of Mr. Ribeiro’s life. In recent years, he visited the United Kingdom, UAE, Spain, France, Italy, Brazil, Romania and Switzerland.
