Barbara Meredith
Experience
Barb has 12 years of middle level teaching experience. BAM taught middle school science and mathematics classes as a classroom teacher in the United States. Her teaching experience was centered in Memphis and Omaha at this level. She also has experience as a writing consultant for college students
Education
She holds a BS in Chemistry from the University of Memphis and an MS in Curriculum and Instruction from Freed-Hardeman University.
About Barbara
Barbara also goes by Ms. BAM (her initials). As a science educator, she believes that students deserve a learning environment built on mutual respect that can foster experiences where learners strengthen their known interests and cultivate new passions, too.
Outside of work, BAM loves adding pages to her first science fiction novel. She enjoys keeping up with her son Abraham and going on adventures with him. You will often hear her before you see her, as she has been told she has a multitude of boisterous laughs!
