Maria has been in the educational field since 2007; with 7 years of experience in full-time teaching in all school divisions. She has taught in the US, and Guatemala and participated in the “III Jornadas de ELE”.
As an educator, she has specialized in learning disabilities and psychology. Her multiethnic and multilingual background inspired her to study for a Master’s in Linguistics Applied to Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language.
Maria has a humanistic approach, she believes in education and humankind. She aims to create safe learning environments for the students and establish great relationships with the school community members. With her commitment to continuous learning to expand her knowledge and gain new skills, she guarantees that her students will learn with the most up to date research-based strategies.
