Clare Sharp

Experience

Her recent role as Executive Principal/CEO in Egypt saw her lead a British School, ages 4 -18 whilst also taking on the role of Foundation Educational lead for a new school, following the American Curriculum. Clare is an evaluator with the Council of International Schools (CIS) and has undertaken visits in China as well as leading two schools through a CIS/NEASC (New England Association of Schools and Colleges) joint accreditation. Clare is also an accreditation volunteer with Cognia (Advanced Ed) who accredit American schools in the US and those Internationally who are following an American curriculum or are an IB World School.

Education

Clare’s academic background, with an MA in Educational Leadership as well as National Professional Qualification for Headship, knows how to provide the strategic direction for a school as well as all of the roles expected of a school leader including operational and capital-funded projects, staffing, professional development, policy development and implementation as well as marketing, health and safety and safeguarding.
